Here at St Paul’s we are passionate about our environment and looking after it. We believe that education and opportunity are the keys here and both can be achieved more successfully when the children are having fun. Our school is set in wonderful grounds and we are extremely lucky to have our own large wildlife area and pond as part of it. The outdoors is used to inspire and nurture an interest in our local wildlife and hopefully to encourage a lifetime of respect. We have staff trained in “Forest Schools” techniques and we also have membership of the Wildlife Trust, supporting its work to further encourage our children to value and enjoy their world. Our pupils work outside regularly, gaining greater understanding of the wildlife around them and acquiring new practical conservation skills.
